April 'History of Hip' Program Highlights Design

The art, furniture, and architecture of the 1950s are perennially popular with designers and homeowners. Collector and historian Richard Blue will discuss key looks and designers of the era while Charlie Lazor, co-founder of blu dot furniture and founder of Lazor Office, will show examples of modern design that owe a debt to the mid century modern aesthetic. His examples will include the Flatpack House (pictured), a prefabricated home assembled on site from flat pieces.
